EDP Group is present in Portugal with more than 5,800 employees.
The company is the main investor in Portugal and one of the engines of economic national development, being the largest producer, distributor and supplier of electricity in the country.
The production of energy takes place through hydric and thermal generation (EDP Produção) and eolic generation (EDP Renováveis). E-REDES is the Distribution Network Operator in the mainland of Portugal. SU Eletricidade (in the regulated market) and EDP Comercial (in the free market) ensure the Group’s energy supply.
