EDP reached 100,000 followers on its LinkedIn page three years after commencing activity on this professional social network, thus becoming the first Portuguese company to achieve this important milestone.

It is a means of 'networking' over the many nationalities that make up the Group and it serves as a central point for the dissemination of corporate and energy sector news and events in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
EDP is stated to be the most prominent Portuguese multinational: with presence in 14 countries, the page's followers are also from all over the world - 40,000 in Portugal, 42,000 in Brazil, 7,500 in Spain, 2,500 in the United States with the remaining followers from dozens of countries from all continents.
