Monday 13, March 2017

The national energy company is recognized by the Ethisphere Institute having been listed among the 2017 World Most Ethical Companies

EDP was today recognized, for the sixth consecutive year, as one of the most ethical companies in the world. In its 2017 list of the World Most Ethical Companies®, the Ethisphere Institute identified 124 companies from 19 countries, with EDP being one of only six from the Energy & Utilities sector.

The Ethisphere Institute recognizes companies that show leadership and integrity and that can prove that their management practices are aligned with ethical principles and commitments. Using its own model, the Ethisphere Institute evaluates the maturity and performance of ethics and compliance management systems.

Beyond recognition of the adoption of good sustainability and ethical practices in its business areas and throughout the value chain, this international award demonstrates the EDP Group's commitment to reinforcement of a culture of ethics and enhanced relationships of trust with our stakeholders.
