EDP will offer gym equipment (sports equipment) to three schools in municipalities where the 79th edition of the Tour of Portugal bicycle race, which starts on 4 August, will be held. 

In this social responsibility initiative, EDP calls for the participation of all the population present at the EDP Studio, which will be present in all stages of this great sporting event, which starts on 4 August. Those who visit the stand of the national energy company will be made aware of the book on the schools in each municipality, so that they can select their school. The winners will be the three schools that get the most votes, and they will receive sports equipment to equip their gymnasiums for the upcoming school year.

In addition to this initiative, everyone who visits the EDP stand can take a customised T-shirt home with the motto Powered by Imagination, the EDP theme for events in the fields of music and sport. 

The Group does not want to leave out the big stars of this event, the professional cyclists, so the team with the best time of the day will mount the podium with the distinction "Best EDP Team", a way of honouring those cyclists who transform this professional race into a great party for the whole population.

EDP is supporting this legendary cycling event, that runs throughout the country and involves thousands of people, for the 14th consecutive year.
