EDP's Brand Director Ana Sofia Vinhas was honored at the 15th Meios & Publicidade Awards, a ceremony held last night at the Lisbon Congress Center. 

The purpose of this ceremony is to reward and celebrate the finest Communication achievements in Portugal. 96 projects, companies and personalities were nominated, spread across 27 categories.

Ana Sofia Vinhas began her professional career in 1997 as an RTP journalist. In 2000 she joined TVI as a journalist and anchor of the station's main newscast, which she left in 2008 to take up the position of deputy director at EDP's Brand and Communication Department, where she was responsible for the Group's internal communication and Sponsorships, Events and Social Responsibility areas. In 2014 she took up the position of Brand Director, where she is currently responsible for the Group's Brand and Marketing area and for the Brand Activation, Events and Social Responsibility area. She holds a degree in International Relations from Universidade Lusíada and a postgraduate degree in European Studies from the same institution. She concluded a Senior Management Program at AESE in 2015.
