EDP is the leader in dual customer satisfaction for the 3rd consecutive year

EDP Comercial was recognised, for the 3rd consecutive year, as the leader in customer satisfaction in contracts for electricity and natural gas services. In the ECSI Portugal 2017 study, EDP Comercial obtained a score of 7.39 (on a scale of 1 to 10) in the dual services category. 
The ECSI study intends, in the energy sector, to assess the level of customer satisfaction in relation to suppliers in Portugal. 

The ranking obtained highlights the Group's strong commitment to a strategy of diversification and innovation focused increasingly on the customer, both in the residential and business sector. 

In recent years, the company has been promoting innovative products and services, such as EDP Funciona. Launched in 2013, Funciona is a review, maintenance and technical assistance service for customers with electricity or gas installed at home, in Portugal. 
EDP Comercial is a market leader in the open market, with approximately 4 million customers. The company has an 85% and 50% share in the free electricity and natural gas markets respectively.
