EDP is going into the health and well-being business with the launch of the EDP Plus Plan, which offers customers discounts of up to 70% on medical consultations at more than 29,000 health industry partners, tickets for cultural and leisure events and free stays in hotels. A new offer that shows EDP's commitment to becoming more and more part of its customers' lives.

The EDP Plus Plan, an exclusive offer for EDP Comercial customers, addresses one of the biggest concerns in Portugal - health. The plan includes medical consultations at general and specialist clinics for 25 euros, dental consultations from 20 euros, home medical visits for 15 euros and medical examinations, surgery, treatments or births with discounts up to 40%.

The network is made up of renowned health care providers, including CUF, Lusíadas, SAMS, the Red Cross, Trofa Saúde, British Hospital, Hospital Particular do Algarve and Fundação Champalimaud. Another attractive feature of this new offer is that it has no age limit or exclusion due to pre-existing diseases. It also has no grace period or limits on use.

The EDP Plus Plan goes beyond health to provide a leisure component that includes a 2 for 1 offer on ticket purchases at different venues, as well as free stays when buying two nights’ accommodation (of equal or lower value). Teatro Politeama, Monte Selvagem, MAAT and Ecorkhotel are just a few of our partners that are also part of this network.
