EDP Funciona offers home equipment check-ups

Customers with the Funciona service can now do a check-up of their home appliances at no additional cost, which can result in a reduction in the monthly bill.

EDP lunches a new service for EDP Comercial customers, offering them, through the Funciona service and without additional costs, the possibility of doing an analysis to the household appliances that they have in their homes. This check-up allows us to dentify the savings potential of the main household appliances and present the most efficient solutions that allow you to reduce your energy bill.

The equipment check-up is carried out by a specialized technician who also includes a report advising on the power and rate to be contracted.

For EDP, the creation of this new service is a natural step, taking into account the presence that Funciona has today in thousands of Portuguese homes, with multiple alternatives for customers to have more comfort, security and, now, energy efficiency at a very competitive price. 

The Funciona service guarantees, whenever necessary, repairs up to 600€ (travel, labor and 25% of the value of the parts) and technical assistance 24 hours a day for emergencies at home. Every year the service allows to opt for a gas and electricity review,  lighting check up, and now also check-up for the equipment. 

To promote this new service, EDP lunches a campaign in which it offers 10% discount on electricity, 10% on the Funciona service and, if included, natural gas will also have a 10% discount. 
These discounts are valid for one year for customers joining until December 31, 2018.

The multi-media advertising campaign, which will be on the air for the next three weeks, was developed by the Partners agency and produced by Grumpy Panda and portrays the life of a customer and the check-ups he usually does to ensure greater comfort in his life. In the end, it reveals the Funciona service check-up and how it can help the client to be more efficient in their day-to-day life.
