EDP is offering 1000 race numbers for the EDP, Lisbon, Mulher e a Vida (Women and Life) race, which will take place on in Lisbon on 21 May, bringing together thousands of female running enthusiasts.

The EDP race numbers are offered through registration on EDP's D.fy app, which supports runners in their races through the use of individual and group training areas.

The race is in support of a great cause: the fight against Breast Cancer, a disease affecting increasing numbers of people. All of the funds raised through the race entries will be donated to the Portuguese League against Breast Cancer, Southern Regional Section.

Since the race started, 681,000 euros have been raised for this cause.

For the 12th consecutive year, the EDP Group is the named sponsor of this event, which, year after year, has been attracting thousands of women on a day where everybody comes together for the same cause.

Support for this race is part of the EDP Group's key strategy of support for sports events. As a pioneer in supporting running events, EDP has played an important role in popularizing the sport in Portugal, thus contributing to the adoption of healthier lifestyles. This support has now been extended to Spain, a country where EDP already supports 17 races.
