EDP - Energias de Portugal, SA (hereinafter EDP, SA) is committed to respect for the privacy of data owners and to the protection and security of their personal data. 2. Data processing purposes and legal basis

5. Retention period

Collected data will be retained for a period of 5 years, although such data may be kept beyond that period for the fulfillment of legal obligations or archiving purposes; in the latter case, appropriate technical and organizational measures will be implemented.

6. User rights

Pursuant to personal data laws, the user has the right to access, rectify and delete any personal data concerning him/her. Moreover, the user may also exercise his/her data portability rights or the right to limit or oppose the processing of his/her personal data.

The user is solely and exclusively responsible for the way his/her user account is used, either by him/herself or by authorized third parties. EDP SA may revoke the user license, at its discretion and at any time, if it detects any abusive, fraudulent or unlawful behavior.

EDP SA has adopted appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard the security of the services offered through the website, to ensure the integrity of traffic data pertaining to unauthorized forms of use or knowledge, and to prevent the dissemination, destruction and loss of confidential or non-confidential user information on the website, as well as of any data pertaining to unauthorized access or non-compliance with applicable personal data laws.

8. User Representations and Warranties

The user represents and warrants that:

9. Miscellaneous Provisions

The nullity of any provision in these Terms and Conditions shall be deemed to be deleted, and the remaining provisions thereof shall remain in full force and effect.

This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted under Portuguese law, pursuant to the agreements concluded and executed in that country. In the absence of an amicable agreement between the parties, any claims or disputes concerning the conclusion, execution or interpretation of this Agreement shall be settled by the Judicial Courts of Lisbon, with the express waiver of any other jurisdiction.
