EDP wins ‘Net Zero Progression of the Year’ at Environmental Finance’s Sustainable Company Awards, highlighting the company's leadership in the energy transition.The award commends EDP's strategy to tackle climate change and to drive the company toward net zero by 2040. 

EDP was distinguished by the ESG Investing Awards as the global listed company with the 'Best Climate Report'. The international award also recognised the company's social responsibility strategy, one of the four categories in which EDP stood out.

EDP's hybrid energy project bringing together solar, hydropower, and battery storage uses innovative scalable technology to reduce emissions and protect nature simultaneously. The project is one of three finalists shortlisted for the European Sustainable Energy Awards 2023 in the Innovation category.
