EDP Mar Sem Fim is based on 4 major initiatives:
- Expeditions: Missions for exploration and recognition of new waves with potential for breaking records and holding an event.
- Grants: Fund for assigning scholarships to Portuguese surfers
- Hangar Nazaré: Space for training and preparation of Portuguese big wave surfers
- Awards: Attributed annually to the most outstanding surfers during the big wave season
