EDP will be offering 750 double tickets for Rock in Rio-Lisboa. The competition kicks off today and the deadline for submission and voting is March 6. Then, they must promote their masterpiece among their friends. Double tickets will be awarded to the 750 photos most voted by the public.
Winners may attend one of the five days of the Rock in Rio festival (May 19, 20, 26, 27 or 28). With this ticket offering for the biggest music and entertainment event in the world, EDP reinforces its strategy to provide unique benefits to its customers in the free market, guaranteeing them great moments of relaxation and well-being.
For EDP, the emotions and energy generated by music and sports translate into 'Heart Beats'. To the rhythm of.... ', The Group's new concept in these two areas'. This concept can serve as inspiration for participant photographs, which do not necessarily have to be music-related. Attendants can share other happy emotions, capable of 'making the heart race' for as many people as possible.
The multimedia campaign was launched today in the press, radio, billboards and digital media - as well as on EDP's several commercial channels.
EDP Rock Street celebrates Brazil
For everyone who vibrates with Brazilian rhythms, dance, color and heat, EDP has the busiest street in Rock City. The true success of the event, Rock Street takes EDP's name for the first time this year, with an entire programming inspired by Brazil, with musicians and street performers representing Brazil's culture and diversity.
The crossing of cultures fostered by the Rock in Rio platform, is indeed the main reason for EDP to become a global partner of the event. In addition to the Brazilian and Portuguese editions, EDP also sponsored the 1st edition of Rock in Rio Las Vegas.
For Paulo Campos Costa, the EDP Group's Global Director of Brand Marketing and Communication, 'this new partnership will strengthen the Group's strategy in domestic and international music. The name of EDP's Rock Street is proof of our confidence in Rock in Rio and of the potential that this great event has to bring the brand closer to our customers, by providing them with unique emotions'.
For Roberta Medina, vice president of Rock in Rio, 'In an increasingly globalized world, it is a natural evolution that these two brands tune in to various markets, thereby enhancing their results. Therefore, it makes sense for EDP to join the movement of establishing healthy relations between the cultures of two of these markets, by supporting EDP Rock Street Brazil.
