EDP is one of the most ethical companies in the world

EDP was considered one of the most ethical companies in the world for the fifth consecutive year. This energy company is the only Portuguese company to be included in the international ranking and one of the four global electric utilities. The international distinction 'The World's Most Ethical Companies - WMEC' by the Ethisphere Institute, recognized 131 companies worldwide.
The distinction is granted to companies that have had a significant impact on their business management, promoting a culture of ethics and transparency in the various levels of the company. The Ethisphere Institute evaluates the maturity of management systems in the field of ethics and compliance.
The EDP Group was distinguished because of its adoption of best practices for sustainability and ethics in all its business areas, and also the contribution it has made in its value chain and in society in general, promoting the values of integrity, accountability and transparency in its performance.
This recognition, achieved for the fifth consecutive year, shows the commitment of the entire EDP Group in maintaining key standards and practices that ensure the sustained creation of value for all stakeholders in the company.
