The EDP Trainee Programme is back: applications for the 7th edition are now open
EDP is for looking for young people with talent, ambition and "pure energy" for the 7th edition of its global trainee programme. Applications open worldwide this week for paid internships of seven months in the different areas and markets of the group.
Reliability, curiosity, openness, courage, future vision – these are the key characteristics that EDP is looking for in the applicants to the new edition of the EDP Trainee Programme, which opens on Monday, 31 October.
With the slogan "You are Pure Energy", this edition values diversity and seeks young people of all nationalities and areas of education to enjoy a professional experience of seven months at EDP – the only requirements are mastery of the English language and a master's degree completed within the previous two years or due to finish shortly.
The applications phase about to open will last until 4 December and, like the whole of the recruitment process, is entirely digital. Once the selection process has been completed, the trainees will be welcomed and integrated into the group in March of next year.
During the programme, which will end in September, there will be two rotations between different areas or companies of the group, which now operates in 29 markets. In this way, it is intended to enrich the professional experience of the trainees, challenging them to actively contribute to innovative solutions in the energy sector, and thereby strengthen their personal and professional skills. At the end of the internship – which will be paid – the trainees will have the opportunity to join any company in the EDP group in the different markets.
As a leader of the energy transition, EDP is always looking for people with exceptional profiles and the motivation to make a difference in a sector undergoing wholesale transformation and who, like the company, want to change tomorrow today. In addition, EDP is committed to inclusion and everyone feeling they belong. EDP welcomes and values all people, recruiting more than 1,500 employees globally since the start of the year.
