Fraudulent emails circulated in the name of EDP Universal Services
EDP Universal Services gave the alert as to the appearance of fraudulent emails of unknown origin with an alleged false reimbursement note sent to the in-boxes of many users.
EDP Universal Services never requests personal and/or confidential information such as data for new forms of payment or reimbursement through email.
This type of malicious action is called Phishing and seeks to abusively obtain personal data through messages that lead the user to fake sites appearing as faithful copies of those you would regularly access and requesting the introduction of confidential data.
