Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging | EDP Portugal

Both EDP and EDP Renewables improved their overall score when compared to last year and stood out in a global index that includes 485 companies from 45 countries and regions around the world.

The Top Employer Institute certified EDP and EDP Renewables for their best practices in people management. International recognition was reinforced this year in two more countries: Greece and Colombia.

A group of nine companies, including EDP, joined to create a forum for work and reflection on the themes of diversity and inclusion. The goal is to contribute to a positive change in society.

The promotion of equal professional opportunities between men and women has earned new recognition: EDP and EDP Renováveis are once again part of the Bloomberg Gender Equality Index, among 418 selected companies on a global scale.

Professions in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) still have low female participation. This is a reality that EDP wants to help to reverse through the global campaign #REBELSFORCHANGE, in line with its own ambition to strengthen the presence of women in the company.
