The LIGHT BY EDP challenge runs from January 8th to January 18th, 2021, and calls in the entire academic community of IADE for a creative week, from which visual proposals will emerge for the Festivals seating lounge, where EDP will make brand activation in 2021.

The proposals submitted will be evaluated by a jury consisting of representatives from EDP, Departamento®, and IADE. The 5 winners of the contest, in addition to seeing their work shown at the Festivals, will receive a monetary prize, and the chance to accompany the realization of the project by one of the BOLD TALKS guests.

The LIGHT BY EDP challenge will run for ten consecutive days. Students can compete individually or in teams (maximum of 3 students), starting from a briefing, and test their creativity with the EDP brand.

This year, the start of the challenge takes place in a digital format. The Kick Off and the Briefing will take place on November 6th, at 5pm, with the guidance of Mónica Marques, EDP Events and Sponsorship Coordinator, Carlos Rosa, Director of IADE, and Bruno Pereira, Creative Director of Departamento®.

During the challenge, students will also have two mentoring sessions by teachers from IADE and Bruno Pereira, Creative Director of Departmento® and former IADE student. 

The Light by EDP challenge is part of the BOLD CREATIVE FESTIVAL by IADE and EDP, which is in its fourth edition this year. In addition to the challenge, this festival also includes Regular Talks and BOLD TALK, with the date and format to be announced soon.

The BOLD CREATIVE FESTIVAL, by IADE and Departamento®, translates into an annual creative festival, held in partnership with EDP, and aims to enhance and praise the creativity of former IADE students who stand out professionally in the creative field, at a national and international level. It is also a place for exchanging experiences with professionals in the field, as well as a world-class creative guest who is invited each year (http://www.boldcf.com/).
